Security Industry Authority - Approved Contractor SchemeThe Security Industry Authority (SIA) has developed a new security standard that bases itself upon ISO9001:2008, and the industry codes of practice.  For the first time there is a universally recognised standard of quality, SIA-ACS, for the private security industry.


Approved Contract Status has quickly established itself within the security industry and is now recognised as essential for any established security company.  Within its requirements the ACS has criteria covering business strategy, business processes, commercial relationship management, financial management, business resource, people processes leadership, corporate social responsibility and business performance results.  All criteria being documented within the ACS self assessment workbook.
